At Little Blessings Child Development Center, we have a designated classroom for one-year-olds, ensuring that every child receives age-appropriate care and attention to promote their growth and development.

Children are introduced to hands-on learning experiences in the areas of social, cognitive, and physical development. Teachers are aware that each child is unique and works with them in a manner that will enhance his/her uniqueness.

They have a classroom setting that supplements the home and has the warm atmosphere of a living room. Our children learn early that the classroom is their room and everything in it is to be cared by them. The majority of class time is spent in individual or small group lessons given by the teacher. However, this is not the only format for learning. As in a family situation, younger children learn from older children and older children gain confidence by assisting the younger ones. Each class usually gathers during the day for activities such as singing, storytelling, recitation, and movement. The children go outside everyday unless the weather is inclement.

Mixed ages work together in a classroom setting after school hours. A teacher helps assist with homework assignments and more to help promote the child’s education. Students enrolled in Summer Camp will participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities and field trips at the Center.
